  • Ultralight – just 0.23 oz (6.5 g)
  • Unique looped head centered over shaft
  • Ultra-strong grade 5 titanium
  • Ideal for compacted or hard rocky soil

Meye Ti™ Titanium Stakes have a unique looped head. Unlike shepherd hook stakes, our looped head keeps the guyline engaged when wind causes the stake to turn. Our stakes are made of grade 5 titanium which has one of the highest strength to weight ratios available. At just 0.23 oz (6.5 g) these stakes are ultralight yet hold up to the rigors of backcountry use.

These stakes are ideal for regular, compacted, or hard rocky soil. Their small diameter easily navigates through the ground but may not hold well in soft or loose soil. You can push, twist, or pound these stakes into the ground. The loop is centered over the shaft so nearly all the force goes directly into driving/pushing the stake in. And the loop makes a great handle for twisting.

We offer an optional color band to help you find the stakes on the ground when packing up. Choose your favorite color to personalize your stakes or use the color to identify a set of stakes for a specific tent/tarp. Or choose no color band at all.

  1. Great for Sierra use star rating

These stakes surprisingly held up very well in the eastern Sierras for me after bending a mini groundhog on my last outing. Aside from the product, I love the great customer service on this site and the expedited shipping. If there's an option between getting a product on here vs. another site, I'll always end up getting it here.

  2. Perfect for my tarp star rating

Using these with a larger rectangular tarp (11' x 8 ') and they work great!

  3. Excellent! star rating

    Very happy with these stakes.

  4. Best Ti skewer stake I've found star rating

Posted by Oysters on 5th Jun 2016

I've owned/have owned a LOT of stakes. I seem to have a crazy collection. Probably because I've had a lot of ultralight stakes not cut the mustard for me...I'm always in the search for the perfect stake. I usually carry a combination of a couple of different stakes each trip, depending on the conditions I expect. I don't carry extra stakes, just choose which stake to place where depending on my campsite.

These are by far the best Ti skewer type stake I've had. A good diameter of shaft-not too narrow. They will definitely last me a long time ( I can tell), and putting through some in hand bend tests they are very strong (I am pretty strong...powerlifter when not hiking) and have excellent resilience. The head/hook on these are definitely the best I've had in a skewer stake. I can actually push these into hard ground without bending the hook or reaching its limits. I often camp on hard/rocky ground (often semi-arid to arid conditions) and these stakes will actually cut the mustard. I can finally leave most of my heavy Ti Nail stakes at home.

Totally worth the ~6grams over skinnier Ti Skewer stakes (I have some 1 and 2gram stakes but they are rarely of much use for me).

*Not a long term test as this is a new product, just some backyard testing so far. But I have a lot of experience with many stakes in many conditions around the world.
