Nitecore® NU27 MCT is an innovative headlamp equipped with Multiple Color Temperature (MCT) settings – warm, neutral, and cool white – to optimize the light for maximum visibility depending on the situation. With five brightness levels up to 600 lumens, an extended runtime of up to 57 hours on Ultralow, red light to preserve night vision, plus two rescue modes, this headlamp is born for adventure. The lightweight headband is breathable and highly adjustable to fit your head, hat, or helmet. And recharge by simply plugging into a power bank.

A matrix-design multi-faceted optical lens produces uniform, soft light. The wide light emitting surface provides clear, three-dimensional illumination for enhanced visibility. For reading or close-up work, the light tilts down up to 90˚. Plus there's a red light that helps preserve night vision and won’t blind your friends or attract bugs. Use when star gazing, map reading, taking photos at night, gear organizing, or doing camp chores. Slow Flash mode repeats a short red flash to indicate caution.

The headlamp has two buttons – POWER and MODE. When the light is off, double press POWER for direct access to Neutral White Ultralow. Or long press POWER once for Neutral White Low. Repeatedly press POWER to cycle from Low>Mid>High>Low. When the light is on, double press POWER for direct access to Turbo. Short press MODE to switch color temperature modes. Repeatedly press MODE to cycle from Neutral>Warm>Cool>Neutral. Long press either button to turn off.

For direct access to Red, long press MODE for Low, then repeatedly press POWER to cycle from Low>High>Low. Long press either button to turn off.

You can also access two rescue modes, SOS and Beacon. SOS repeatedly flashes SOS in Morse code (. . . ––– . . .), while Beacon repeatedly flashes a single short flash. Double press MODE to enter SOS mode. Repeatedly press POWER to cycle from SOS>Beacon>Slow Flashing>SOS. Double press MODE again to return to the previous state.

Long press both buttons at the same time for 2 sec to lockout and prevent the light from turning on while in your pocket or pack. The headlamp flashes three times to indicate lockout. Long press both buttons again to reactivate the headlamp and enter Neutral White Ultralow mode.

NU27 MCT has a built-in, long-lasting 850 mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery that’s much more sustainable than standard batteries. An intelligent protective charging circuit and a USB-C connection make it quick and easy to recharge. There’s no need to worry about running out of power or replacing batteries, just plug into a power bank, wall charger, computer, or car (USB-C cable provided). The light maintains full functionality while charging.

During charging, the blue power indicators will gradually transition from flashing to steady to indicate the power level. When fully charged, all four blue indicators will be steady on. To see how much battery power is left, with the light turned off, short press the Mode button. 4 bars for 75-100%, 3 bars 50-75%, 2 bars 25-50%, 1 bar 0-25%. It takes approximately 1 h 15 min to fully charge the battery. A rubber cover protects the USB-C port from dirt and moisture.
