Nitecore® TIP3 is a dual-LED USB-C rechargeable light with five brightness levels up to 720 lumens and a runtime of 160 hours on Ultralow. At just 1.06 oz (30 g), it weighs as little as a AA battery. TIP3 has a TIR total reflective optic lens providing 90˚ flood illumination with uniform, soft light for outstanding night vision and a rugged, hard-anodized aluminum body. Just plug into a power bank battery to recharge and never worry about running out of power or replacing batteries again. A multi-purpose clip allows you to attach the light to your hat bill for headlamp-like performance, your pocket, or your backpack.

TIP3 is equipped with Multiple Color Temperatures (MCT) LEDs to optimize the light for maximum visibility depending on the situation. Three different color temperatures can be set – warm, neutral, or cool white. Press and hold both buttons to cycle through the color temperature options, release to select.

TIP3 has two buttons, Power and Mode – very simple. Short press the Power button to turn the light on/off. Press the Mode button to cycle from Ultralow>Low>Mid>High>Ultralow. To turn off, short press the Power button again. TIP3 has a memory and will turn on in the last previous mode. To enter Ultralow directly when the light is off, long press the Power button. To enter Turbo mode directly, hold down the Mode button, then release to resume to the prior mode. An Advanced Temperature Regulation module regulates the output based on the ambient environment, maintaining optimal performance.

TIP3 has two lockout modes. In Half Lockout Mode, the Power button is deactivated but the Mode button still operates for accessing Turbo. In Full Lockout Mode, both the Power and Mode buttons are deactivated. To prevent the light from accidentally turning on while in your pocket or pack, use Full Lockout Mode. 

TIP3 has a built-in, long-lasting 650 mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery that’s much more sustainable than disposable batteries. An intelligent protective charging circuit and a USB-C connection make it easy to recharge. Since you probably already carry a spare battery to charge your phone, there’s no need to worry about running out of power or replacing batteries, just plug into a power bank, wall charger, computer, or car (USB-C charging cable provided). The light maintains full functionality while charging. The charging port has a rubber cover to provide protection from dust and moisture.

A special power management chip allows the charge to last up to 1 year. When the battery power falls below 10%, a green power indicator will flash. During charging, the green power indicators will gradually transition from flashing to steady to indicate the power level. When fully charged, all four green indicators will be steady on. To see how much battery power is left, with the light turned off, short press the Mode button. 4 bars for 75-100%, 3 bars 50-75%, 2 bars 25-50%, 1 bar 10-25%, and 1 flashing <10%.

TIP3 has an integrated, stainless steel bar for mounting. So strong it supports up to 66 lb (30 kg) of weight. A carabiner clip with a split ring are installed for mounting a lanyard, connecting a micro carabiner, or attaching to a keychain.
