- Inflate a sleeping pad in 3-4 min
- Powered by phone or power bank
- Crazy light
- Compatible with most pads
The last thing we want to do at the end of a long day hiking is blow up a sleeping pad. And at altitude it can make you lightheaded. Plus, you’re blowing moisture in your pad that can lead to mold growth. Alternatively, you could wrestle with a pump sack, but that’s not fun either.
Alpenblow is a micro inflator powered by your phone or power bank that quietly inflates a pad in as little as 3 min yet weighs less than two nickels but uses <1% of your phone battery. Add the nozzle for your specific pad and plug in with a USB-C cable to start the inflation. Relax or do something else. When done the pad will be rigid but many hikers prefer firmness requiring a few extra puffs.
Four pink nozzles are included for the most popular sleeping pads – Therm-a-Rest (WingLock), Nemo (Laylow), Big Agnes, Sea-to-Summit/Exped/REI/ZenBivy. Four optional nozzles are sold separately for Therm-a-Rest (Old), RAB, Klymit, and Kilos Gear sleeping pads. Alpenblow is for backcountry sleeping pads and will struggle to inflate oversized mattresses, rafts, or kayaks.
While Alpenblow won’t improve your FKT, it will spare your weary lungs every night.

FAQ
Can you deflate your sleeping pad with the Alpenblow?
No, unfortunately the dual inlet ports & 1-way turbine prevent a deflation mode.
Could you stoke a fire or cool yourself off with the Alpenblow?
Not really. The flow is non-laminar when it exits so does not travel very far.
My sleeping pad is taking longer to inflate than expected, what’s going on?
Ensure the nozzle is fully seated to the Alpenblow and to your pad, and that your valve is configured to reduce blockage – setting to “deflate” often helps if an option. Altitude or a sleeping bag/quilt laying on top of your pad can also increase inflation times.
