FlexAir® Pillows are the lightest inflatable pillows available. They are compact and so simple to use. The firmness can be easily adjusted for maximum comfort. The exterior has a soft nap, durable, non-woven exterior material that’s comfortable against your skin. But do you really need a pillow? Why not just put your spare clothes in a stuff sack and use it for a pillow? Well, many ultralighters wear nearly all their clothes to sleep to extend the temperature rating of their sleeping bag, leaving little to make a pillow.
FlexAir Inflatable Pillows are available in two sizes – small and large. The small pillow for the minimalist is 13 x 9 x 3 in. (33 x 22.9 x 7.6 cm) when inflated and weighs a scant 0.56 oz (16 g). The large pillow for more comfort is 16 x 11 x 4 in. (40.6 x 27.9 x 10.2 cm) when inflated and weighs 0.9 oz (27 g). Large is a better size if you roll side to side during the night. If you don’t move much while you sleep, small should work fine.

I've only used these a few nights, so I have no idea how long they'll last overall, but if preliminary evidence is any indication, for the amount of backpacking I do they'll easily work for a season or more. I'm marveling at the valve - it really IS like magic! There was zero air loss overnight. If I were to try a thru hike I might be tempted to invest in a standard inflatable job (or maybe put these in re-supply boxes?

As I shaved out extra clothing from my pack, I was left without a viable "pillow". With a fast approaching trip, I read some reviews on these and decided to give them a spin. I asked if these could be packaged and sent to me in an expedited manner and was obliged! Arrived quickly and was able to test them out for a few nights. Man, what an upgrade from using a fleece. This thing is surprisingly durable and doesn't deflate (I toss and turn constantly during the night). Would recommend to anyone.

Very light and comfortable. I used it for two nights now. Wonder how durable it is.

I picked up a 3 pack just to give this a try. It sounded too good to be true but I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. They are sturdier than I expected so we'll see how long they last.
The valve is magic. You just put in the straw and inflate and take the straw out and it seals. No fussing. Very simple. Didn't leak in the short test I did but again, we'll see how it works overnight.
The valve is your typical plastic but you only interact with about a quarter inch of it. The rest of the pillow is made up of a smooth and soft material, almost like a super soft Tyvek. Very comfortable and not plasticy feeling at all.
If this holds up and continues to work this will be the best purchase I've made this year. It weights 1/10th what my current pillows weigh and has the same shape and, most important as a side sleeper, it's deep enough to support my head.

Great pillow. I use mine as a leg pillow, to take the pressure off my knees in my hammock. This thing is super light, easy to inflate and deflate, hasn't lost air on me yet, packs small, and is comfortable. Great option, great price.

Interested in trying these on the trail. The air valve is cool.
