Line-Loks are used to adjust and securely lock a length of tent/tarp guyline when it's difficult to find a good place for a stake. It's super easy to adjust the tension, secure, and later release, even while wearing gloves (try that with a knot). Push the Line-Lok up to tension/lock and pull the lines apart to release. Micro teeth grip the line, keeping the tension from loosening in high wind.
These mini Line-Loks work just as well with the smallest diameter guylines as they do with larger sizes up to 2.5 mm. They work great with all Litesmith guylines.

Mostly Good
These are very light and small which makes them perfect for U/L backpacking in average conditions. In rough storm conditions (high wind), they are not the best because the tension lock can come undone. It all depends on the type of backpacking conditions you normally do.

Every new tarp or tent gets these guylines. Nothing else comes even close.

Work great with the reflective guy line
Use these with the reflective cord for my tent fly and they work great, small and light weight. Nice for adjusting line and taking up slack. Ordered a second set for an ultra light tarp.

Neat little line adjustets...a little lightly built for my intended use (kitesurfing) but great design and probably perfect for backpacking

Easy and light weight
Simple to use and light weight! Even though I figured how they rig up, the package did not come with instructions. That might be useful to buyers! [LITESMITH] Rigging instructions were shown on our website at the time of order but instructions are now also included in each package.
