A broad brim goes to the ears and then transitions to a moderate neck cape that won’t bother your ears or bump your backpack. Front and peripheral vision remains unencumbered. The underside of the brim is a darker color to reduce glare. A Reverse Split Brim™ means you can fold in half to pack really small and flat. An adjustable chinstrap will keep your hat secure in windy conditions and the stiff brim stays put without flopping.
A full mesh headband wicks sweat away and is adjustable in the back. Mesh strips on each side provide ventilation to keep your head cool yet still maintain UPF 50+ sun protection.
