Seam Grip+WP™ is a urethane-based seam sealer and repair adhesive for most outdoor fabrics. It dries clear, flexes with fabric, and won’t peel or crack over time, providing a permanent, waterproof seal for seams. You can also use it to repair rips, tears, and holes in your tent, tarp, pack, sleeping pad, jacket, even shoes. It’s liquid gold with hundreds of uses and should be in every repair kit.

Seam Grip seals holes formed by a sewing machine as it stitches fabric. Left unsealed, rain works its way through these holes and will begin to leak on you in the middle of the night. You could end up sleeping in a puddle. Once properly sealed, you can rest easy.

Seam Grip also repairs rips, tears, and pinholes in fabric. Simply applying a small amount over the hole will seal it from leaking.

Seam Grip+WP bonds permanently to all outdoor fabrics, except silicone-impregnated or silicone-coated fabrics (use Seam Grip+SIL for silnylon). It works on natural and synthetic materials including: nylon (polyurethane coated and uncoated), polyester, DCF, vinyl, neoprene, PVC, canvas, rubber, and even leather. It’s washable and extreme cold or heat will not affect the performance.

The 1 oz (28 g) standard tube seals up to 12 ft (3.7 m) of seams, enough for the critical seams of an average 2-person backpacking tent/tarp. Two applicator brushes are included in the package. Take a 0.25 oz (7 g) mini tube on the trail or use it at home to do small repairs. The mini tube does not include applicator brushes.

Don’t wait to the night before a big trip to seal your tent/tarp. While it takes some time, carefully applying Seam Grip to a new tent/tarp is a right of passage. Take pride knowing that your effort will ensure a dry night when it pours.
