For coffee/tea lovers with a favorite variety this lightweight brewer enables you to effortlessly make an exceptional cup of coffee/tea in the backcountry. Just place the brewer on top of your mug/pot, put a scoop of ground coffee/loose leaf tea into the fine mesh filter, and pour hot water over the grounds/leaves. As the water filters through the coffee/tea, the rich flavors are extracted. Allow to brew/steep to your desired taste and enjoy.

The brewer fits on most mugs or small pots and makes a single cup of coffee/tea at any strength. The heat-resistant plastic rim has a slight funnel shape for easier pouring of hot water. It’s lightweight at just 1.13 oz (32.1 g) and the slim, fold-flat design fits easily in your pack. Plus it’s reusable and doesn’t require paper filters. Just rinse the brewer clean and pack out your grounds/leaves. Who knows, you may find you want to use it at home, the office, or on travel too.

    1. Unused but will use as a prefilter later star rating

Posted by Autumn and Jack on 17th Dec 2021

Although this tool is designed for coffee making, I decided to purchase one so I can use it as a water filter pre-filter tool for straining out large debris before the water mix is introduced into the water filter itself. Since I haven't used it I can not attest to it's character yet, but by observation I'd say it looks very good and is made with quality.

    2. BUY IT !~ star rating

Bought this in 2019 and then did 150 mile section on the PCT. Have used it everyday since to make coffee as I live on my sailboat and have one cup of coffee per day. SPECTACULAR.

    3. Simple Concept for Good Coffee star rating

Posted by TropicalZach on 29th Oct 2021

I enjoy my coffee in the morning while backpacking and have struggled with all sorts of methods to find the best approach...instant coffee, pour-over, soaking, cowboy coffee, french press, etc. I've spent enough on coffees and gadgets to buy a Keurig and small generator for the backwoods (LOL). This device combines the pour over and soak method into a simple device. Very pleased. The only suggestion that I have is that the solid ring that sits on the lid of the cup could be lighter (for those of us that pay attention to weight). It is not overly heavy but, it could be lighter.

    4. Perfect for tea star rating

I bought this for travel and backpacking for brewing my daily nettle tea. It’s light and compact and perfect for use on the trail!
