Super Light and works
I took this on a PCT Section and crushed morning coffee...MUST HAVE instead of those Plastic Packs of flavor and fluoride. REAL COFFEE.

It just works!
I am a tea drinker and I like to drink leaf tea. This works really well both in the backcountry and for routine travel.

Finally, real coffee
After my girlfriend rejected my mixture of instant coffee, cocoa mix, and powdered milk, I had to find a way to make real coffee while backpacking. This handy thing works perfectly, and is easy to clean.

Unused but will use as a prefilter later
Although this tool is designed for coffee making, I decided to purchase one so I can use it as a water filter pre-filter tool for straining out large debris before the water mix is introduced into the water filter itself. Since I haven't used it I can not attest to it's character yet, but by observation I'd say it looks very good and is made with quality.

BUY IT !~
Bought this in 2019 and then did 150 mile section on the PCT. Have used it everyday since to make coffee as I live on my sailboat and have one cup of coffee per day. SPECTACULAR.

Simple Concept for Good Coffee
I enjoy my coffee in the morning while backpacking and have struggled with all sorts of methods to find the best approach...instant coffee, pour-over, soaking, cowboy coffee, french press, etc. I've spent enough on coffees and gadgets to buy a Keurig and small generator for the backwoods (LOL). This device combines the pour over and soak method into a simple device. Very pleased. The only suggestion that I have is that the solid ring that sits on the lid of the cup could be lighter (for those of us that pay attention to weight). It is not overly heavy but, it could be lighter.

Perfect for tea
I bought this for travel and backpacking for brewing my daily nettle tea. It’s light and compact and perfect for use on the trail!
