This advanced emergency blanket is made of vacuum-metalized polyethylene that reflects 90% of your radiated body heat back to you to keep you warm. The material is fully waterproof and windproof to keep out rain, wind, or snow. It’s non-breathable so condensation may develop inside the blanket. The high-visibility orange exterior makes it easier for rescuers to find you. Unlike traditional Mylar blankets, it’s quieter and won’t keep you up crinkling in the wind. It’s stretchy and won’t shred if nicked or punctured. Rips or tears can easily be repaired with tape.
