ThruBottle is a slim, reusable water bottle that’s lightweight, durable, and safe for use on a long thru hike. Designed for ultralight backpackers, these bottles are constructed from safe materials intended for long-term use through extended sun exposure and rough conditions. ThruBottle carries the Smartwater bottle form factor but in a safer HDPE material.
ThruBottle has a universal 28 mm narrow mouth screw-on cap, like a water/soda bottle. The cap is tethered to the bottle so it can’t be lost. A cord loop near the top aids in pulling the bottle from a side or shoulder-strap pack pocket. Both oz and ml markings make measurement easier. A dusting of dirt will make the markings stand out.
ThruBottle is compatible with popular 28 mm threaded water filters including Sawyer, Platypus, and HydroBlu. These bottles also work well with our Jetza bottle bidet. Add a Flip-top Sport Cap for convenient drinking on the go. Use a Water Filter Coupling to direct connect the output of a water filter or build a gravity filter.
Scrap single-use disposable water bottles for a sustainable, reusable ThruBottle. HDPE is safer for drinking than PET, which can degrade with reuse and potentially leach into the water.
