Dr. Bronner’s Biodegradable Soap

Dr. Bronner’s is legendary backpacking soap. It’s biodegradable and excels at cleaning just about anything – hands, face, body, hair, dishes, laundry. Truly a ‘do all’. You can even use a drop for backcountry toothpaste. No, really. It’s not too bad.

Dr. Bronner’s uses only the purest organic and fair-trade certified ingredients. No synthetic preservatives, no detergents or foaming agents. Just pure-castile liquid soap scented with organic peppermint oil. You’ll feel the cool tingle. It’s concentrated so a little goes a long way. Repackage in Mini Dropper Bottles to take on the trail.

Even though it’s biodegradable, please use leave-no-trace principals and wash at least 200 ft (60 m) from water sources. Don’t wash directly in a stream or lake. Scatter strained dishwater. Fish will thank you.

Water, Organic Coconut Oil*, Potassium Hydroxide**, Organic Palm Kernel Oil*, Organic Olive Oil*, Mentha Arvensis, Organic Hemp Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Mentha Piperita, Citric Acid, Tocopherol

*Certified fair-trade ingredients  **None remains after saponifying oils into soap and glycerin

Instructions

Dilute with water. 2-3x more concentrated than many leading liquid soaps, cleaners, and body washes.

Clouds when cold. Put in warm room/water. Clears at about 70˚ F (21˚ C).

• To avoid illness, DO NOT eat soap. If consumed, drink water to flush out.
• Keep out of eyes to prevent irritation. If soap irritates eyes, flush eyes well with water for 15 minutes. Consult a physician if irritation persists.
