Hydration reservoirs are convenient but filling them can be a pain in the neck. Now you can fill a hydration reservoir directly from your water filter without removing the bladder from your backpack. Simply add a Fast Fill Adapter to the output end of your Sawyer Squeeze or Micro Squeeze and install a quick disconnect to your hydration reservoir drink tube. Connect the two and begin filtering clean water directly into the hydration bladder. The adapters are designed to fit the industry standard ¼ in. inner diameter tubing found on most hydration reservoirs.
Cut the drink tube where you want to install the Fast Fill quick disconnects. The recommended location is 1.5 in. (4 cm) from the bite valve. Install the female quick disconnect to the tube leading to the hydration bladder and the male quick disconnect to the tube leading to the bite valve. Remove the cap from the output end of the water filter and screw on the blue Fast Fill Adapter. Connect the Fast Fill Adapter to the quick disconnect on the drink tube leading to the hydration bladder. You can now squeeze the dirty water bottle/bladder to begin filling your hydration bladder. Once full, disconnect the water filter, then connect the bite valve to the hydration bladder tubing and you’re ready to drink clean, filtered water.
